Eight, raised at home

I ran a small school for twenty-some years.

Eight children, homeschooled from the first letter to the last exam. I wrote the curriculum, kept the standards, started the societies, and somehow kept the whole thing warm.

The work of it

A curriculum, a choir, and a few societies.

Homeschooling eight is not one job. It's eight overlapping ones. Reading and arithmetic, then music, then the clubs and societies I founded to give the lessons somewhere to go. I built the institutions my own children grew up inside.

The eight

Everything on this page started with one of them.
